This riser lends itself very nicely to Longbow Limbs and the performance of the aluminum riser is phenomenal. My original "Hawk" on an elk hunt in the Missouri Breaks

This is Ron Hawkinson, Brother of my mentor Bob Hawkinson.
Ron has taken quite a few elk with Bob's bows through the years..
but none better than this one I dont think! Ron took this bull  last
fall, 2006, with a 55# Hawk Recurve. Congrats Ron...Keep up the
hard work Ron.

In the coming months I hope to get some more information up on the site about Bob. He's been involved in archery, bowhunting and bow building since the 50's. One of the last things he told Ron, his brother, before he passed on to the Happy Hunting Grounds, was that he didn't want to go yet...there were lots more bows that needed building. Check out the site in the future for a page on Bob, with some pictures and more stories about his great, traditional archery filled life!
